Roll down

Good morning!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Now that were back at work and it's Monday I like to start each day with a roll down.

Standing hips width apart, arms at your sides, inhale chin to the chest exhale all the way down, let your head and neck relax at the bottom, inhale at the bottom and then exhale all the way up articulating the spine one vertebrae at a time. If you can't reach the floor you can bend your knees slightly to touch the floor for that full stretch.

You can always do the roll down anytime of the day. I like doing it first thing in the morning when I get out of bed to stretch out my back. This is really good for the office people that sit in a chair all day long. Hope this stretch helps!

Free yoga tonight!

Hey Everyone!

So I finally got my computer back on Monday :) It was broken and wouldn't turn on so I had to send it in to be fixed. So sorry for no updates but I'm back and will be updating with lots more stuff!

Tonight at the W Hotel there is going to be a free yoga class on the roof top so if your around definitely check it out! Should be a great time and $3 wine glasses after yoga!!

I was driving today and saw this billboard that said "You only live once so make it ENOUGH" I thought it was pretty interesting considering I did not have a great morning and it made me realize that my day could have been worse and then I started realizing that other people have it worse then I do so I shouldn't really be complaining.

Anywho, hope everyone is having a great day! Remember just smile, you'll feel better :)

Workout for the day. . .

Hi all!  Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend.  Now that the long weekend has come and gone we can get back into our routines!  Today I did a mat class then went for a very short run/walk.....I have shin splits from my hike the other day so I took it easy.  I also jump roped and did some arm workout with a band.  I really want to get back into running....I have a love/hate relationship with it so it's hard to get back into it but once I get going I love it!

Happy 4th of July!!!

hey.... I hope everyone is having a great 4th of July!!! Today I went for a hike in mission trails and it was HOT!!!! My husband and some friends of ours decided to go for a hike but we didn't get there until 1pm....I know were slow :) We hiked for about 2 hours had lunch by the damn and that was really nice and relaxing. Next time we have to leave early but there was a little breeze out which helped a lot!

Ok, well I'm off to relax and hopefully catch some fireworks! :)
